NORWICH – Due to the low number of people using the Norwich High School swimming pool this summer, the city’s Youth Bureau has cut back on the hours it will be available through Aug. 12, when it will no longer be open to the public. Despite the hot summer, said Youth Bureau Director Robert Mason, the number of people using the pool have been very low compared to prior years at the Kurt Beyer. The pool will also be closed Aug. 7. Hours at the NHS pool are now noon to 6 p.m. For more information contact the Youth Bureau at 334-1206.
