Tactical Force - Being careful is one of the first rules that a cop has to live by. When you’re becoming a member of a SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), it’s one of the rules that must be followed. Stone Cold Steve Austin has an all new movie as the leader of this particular team. Trying to teach the rules is never easy and sometimes the best way to teach is to experience. He wasn’t prepared teaching his team like this. During one of their sessions, the class gets very real when they realize they are in the middle of a gang war. Can they get a passing grade for the class and manage to stay alive in the process? Austin seems to making a name for himself with some action movies with a few suggestions from the vault in including “Damage,””Hunt to Kill,” and “The Expendables” (with Sylvester Stallone).
Mask: (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) - There are some things in this world that people do to try and make the world a better place. Cartoon Spotlight has a great cartoon that the Toddster enjoyed as a kid. Matt Trakker was a businessman who’s interests took him all over. What no one knew was that he was the secret leader of an organization called M.A.S.K (or Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) that took on terrorists calling themselves Venom. In the pilot episode, the members of Venom have found a meteor to power their weapons. During the battle, one of their members is hurt and now the Mask team must get back the pieces of it to heal him. Can they succeed in time? The complete series is now available in stores.
New on Blu Ray
Animal House - Blu Ray spotlight is here with an incredible comedy classic in the Toddster’s book. Back in 1962, Faber College was all about teaching students everything that they needed for the real World. Someone forgot to tell these guys. We join Delta House who happens to have the craziest set of guys with Otter (Tim Matheson), Boon (Peter Riegert), Bluto (John Belushi), and everyone else. It seems DeanWormer (John Vernon) and some other fraternities are trying to get rid of them because the members of the Delta House just party and do whatever they want to. The Dean wants to change all that. They’ve been put on “Double Secret Probation” (Whatever that means). Are they going to be able to continue their partying ways and avoid the traps set up for them? Another classic with John Belushi has been released called “The Blues Brothers” now in stores.
It never fails! We always seem to find a one or two things that people will enjoy. Even one for the kids this time around. (Even for the big kid like the Toddster). A few more weeks left in the summer but that doesn’t mean our job is done. Until next week, The Toddster will return!
