The Blue Lamp and Hoppie’s to hold Business After Hours
OXFORD – Commerce Chenango, along with The Blue Lamp and Hoppie’s, will be holding a Chamber Business After Hours at 4 LaFayette Park in Oxford. The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
“A gathering place in an artsy space” is what the Blue Lamp touts. It is an art gallery and shop showcasing local artists. Proprietor and artist extraordinaire, Kim Begeal, can create caricatures, murals, paintings, pet portraits and more. They also have a great space for parties, holiday parties, family gatherings, meetings, or showers. The Blue Lamp has recently added yoga and art classes to their creative services.
“Shake it, scoop it, wrap it, bake it. Have it all at Hoppie’s!” Although Hoppie’s is known for their “old fashioned ice cream parlor” theme and delicious ice cream, they also have fresh panini’s, salads, soup, breakfast items and baked goods and can cater your next event. Owner, Danielle Williamson, was the recipient of Commerce Chenango’s Woman-Owned Business of the Year in May of 2011.
Business After Hours is provided to Chamber members in an effort to increase business connections in a relaxed, informal setting. Chamber members who wish to attend can call the Chamber offices today at 334-1402 or register by email to jeddy@chenangony.org.
