GREENE – Greene won 10 of 12 events, and earned its first win of the season Tuesday night against visiting Windsor.
Emily Bertram and Jessica Brooks had four total victories for the Trojans (1-2) as each won two individual events and swam on a pair of victorious relays. “During the warmups, I sensed quite a bit of energy, and we capitalized on it,” said Greene coach Mike Platta. “The talk the entire meet was about keeping the energy up. The girls swam well, and I am proud of them.”
Jenny Yeager won the 200 freesytle; Katelyn Shear took the 100 free, Moriah McCauley won the 500 free, and Rebecca Smith won her first individual event this season taking the 50 freestyle. The Trojans are at Susquehanna Valley Tuesday.

NEW BERLIN – Greene and Unadilla Valley played to a scoreless tie Tuesday afternoon before play was halted at halftime due to severe thunderstorms.
Each team had numerous shots, but neither club had any threatening attempts on goal. “Jordan (Anderson, UV goalie) did a good job of following the ball,” said UV coach Janelle Ross. “We had a lot of shots, but the placement wasn’t very good. Overall it was a pretty evenly matched game for one half.”
UV plays at Oxford Thursday.

SAUQUOIT – Monday night, Sauquoit Valley’s Michaela Clark scored once in each half leading her club to a shutout win over the Marauders (4-3).
Clark scored just 7:36 into the game. S-E hung within one goal the next 31 minutes until Clark gave her team some insurance 11 minutes into the second half. “It was a tough game on turf, and it took us time to adjust,” said S-E coach Sheila Cooman. “The stats show it was a closer game than the score, and we did some good things. Sauquoit was able to capitalize on our mistakes, and they were able to cover up theirs.”
S-E plays New York Mills on Wednesday.
