New on DVD

Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Finding about new things about old friends can’t ever be easy. Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) has been an ally of Optimus Prime and the Autobots for awhile and the people of the Earth have enjoyed their protection from their enemies the Decepticons. Now they have been working on something that may bring the Earth to its knees. The government has known about the existence of the robots for some time since the Apollo mission to the moon in 1969. Sam has become aware of this and goes to his friends to tell them about what he’s found out. They’re not too happy about being lied to and now they have to find out what’s going on. Optimus and the troops go to the moon and find an old ally and some ancient devices that can warp them to another galaxy. Now they wonder why would their old friend have these. Could he be working with the Decepticons and have some bad things in store for the Earth? There are some plans for a new Transformers movie, but now Shia Labeouf and Director Michael Bay have decided to move on. More on this as it develops.

Inside Out - Action Spotlight has a new movie from Paul “Triple H” Levanasque. He plays AJ. AJ has been in prison for the last 13 years and now has just gotten out of jail.  AJ was supposed to take out his friend Jack (Michael Rappaport) who was a low level enforcer for the mob. He goes to pick up his friend from prison and has to take a little side trip. The side trip ends up with a man being killed. Jack is forced to leave town and now AJ has to take care of Jack’s family. Jack’s wife (Parker Posey) used to be in love with AJ and he doesn’t know that Jack’s daughter is really his. He has to protect them to stop the people Jack has coming after him. Can AJ figure what Jack has been doing and protect the family he never knew he had? Some other movies from the WWE include “12 Rounds,” “The Chaperone,” and “Tooth Fairy.”

Also on DVD

Bridesmaids - Friendships change a lot when friends decide to get marry. This is about to happen to Annie (Kristen Wiig). Annie’s friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph) is about to get married and now wants Annie to become one of her bridesmaids. Her friendship is even more complicated when Lillian’s new friend Helen (Rose Byrne) takes over and starts planning all the new wedding details. Annie starts to get a little discouraged but receives some encouragement when a couple of guys become interested in her. Also, meeting the rest of the Bridal party gets interesting too. Will Annie be able to make some sense out of this craziness? Byrne can also be seen on “Damages” (with Glenn Close) and can be seen on DirecTV with other seasons available on DVD.

Available on Blu Ray

The Lion King - Disney has produced a lot of great cartoons over the years and this one is one of the great ones. We meet Simba. Simba was a young cub and his father was named Mufasa. Mufasa ruled the jungle and his brother Scar didn’t like this too much. Scar takes upon himself to make sure something would happen to Mufasa and it does. This sends Simba into exile where he meets Timon and Poomba. Time passes and Simba has grown up to come back to find out what exactly happened to his father and take his rightful place where his Father ruled. His uncle Scar doesn’t like the fact he’s back and now he’ll do whatever he can to make sure he keeps being King. Are Simba and his friends going to be able to take down Scar? Another Disney movie just recently coming out is “Dumbo” and will be available for a short time on DVD.

That’s it for this week, people! A lot more is on the way for next time including a little racing and more. What could we be talking about? You’ll just have to come back next week and find out. The Toddster will be around, so come on back.
