New York, FEMA to open additional Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers
AFTON – New York state and FEMA have announced the launch of five Mobile Disaster Recovery routes in Chenango County, visiting locations that were impacted by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. Routes will include the corner parking lot at Caswell Street and Court Street in Afton, today through Oct. 8; the municipal parking lot, 28 North Main St., Bainbridge, Oct. 10-12; Mimi’s parking lot, 7 N. Chenango St., Greene, Oct. 14-16; the NBT parking lot, 10 N. Canal St., Oxford, Oct. 18-20, and the municipal parking lot, 15 West State St., Sherburne, Oct. 22- 24.
