Hospice begins monthly seminars

NORWICH – Hospice of Chenango County’s Bereavement Department will begin a year long program for those who have lost a significant person in their life and may need help with both practical and emotional matters. While Hospice still offers the more traditional support groups, this is something a bit different. “We wanted to widen the scope of our support,” explains Bereavement Coordinator Maureen Casey-Bryant.

Hospice will present a different topic and speaker the 3rd Thursday of every month beginning on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 1:30-3 p.m. Each program will take place at The Chenango Health Network located in the Eaton Center in Norwich. The first talk will be about maintaining your home through the four seasons we face in Chenango County. If you are a widow and your husband always took care winterizing your home, this might be the perfect seminar for you.
