Three accused in drug bust headed for county court

NORWICH – Three accused narcotics dealers charged with multiple felonies in a Norwich City Police sting operation last weekend will be heading to county court after waiving their right to a felony hearing yesterday.

Tonya Renee Jenkins, 42, of 41-45 North Broad St., and Timothy R. Armstrong, 20, of 27 Squires Ave., Endicott, were charged with fourth degree conspiracy, a class E felony, two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and a pair of class A misdemeanors, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.

Darian E. Lewis, 25, of 144 North Terrance Ave., Mount Vernon, was charged with two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, endangering the welfare of a child and seventh degree criminal of a controlled substance.
