GREENE – The Greene Drift Riders snowmobiling club will hold its second annual season kick off dinner starting at 5 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the Silo Restaurant.

The event is held to raise money to maintain the club’s 30 miles of trails, to increase membership and to provide information to the community about safe snowmobiling.

“We put a lot of money and time into putting signs up and cleaning up the trails, removing stumps, etc.,” said Club President Brian Davis.

Membership in the club covers the entire family and a portion of the cost goes toward the New York State Snowmobile Association.

“It means that our members have a good standing with them,” he said.
