NEW BERLIN – The Oxford Lions Club is pleased to announce that NBT Bank is sponsoring the $1,000 prize for the first perch caught with a 2012 tag at the Chenango Lake Perch Derby to be held on Feb. 4 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. As in the past, if no tagged perch is caught, the $1000 will be raffled off to registered anglers only. Postponement date for the derby is Feb. 18.

Registration is $5 on the ice the day of the event and begins at 6 a.m. Pre-register by Jan. 28 for $4. Forms are available at Mayhood’s Sporting Goods, Norwich and at www.oxfordlions.org.
