GENEVA – Hobart College sophomore forward Richie Bonney (Norwich High School/Norwich) was named a Liberty League Men’s Basketball Performer of the Week by the conference office today. He led the Statesmen to three victories last week, averaging 19.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.

In a 66-43 win at RIT on Tuesday, Bonney scored a game-high 23 points on 11-of-13 shooting and shared game-high honors with seven rebounds. In a 72-40 win over Vassar on Friday, Bonney again led all scorers with 20 points and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds. He closed out the week with a game-high 15 points and seven rebounds in just 18 minutes as the Statesmen dispatched Bard 91-45.

For the week, Bonney shot .742 from the floor (23-of-31) and .917 from the free throw line (11-of-12).
