Norwich man gets 1 to 3 years on burglary charge

NORWICH – A Norwich man accused of breaking into a woman’s home, stealing her undergarments, performing lewd acts with them and posting images of the victim and the garments online, was sentenced to one to three years in state prison Monday after violating the terms of his interim probation.

Joshua Derouchie, 22, of Norwich, was charged with two counts of second degree burglary and one count of third degree burglary – all felonies – in 2010. After pleading guilty to the lesser, third degree burglary charge, Derouchie was offered a period of interim probation.
