GENEVA – Hobart College sophomore forward Richie Bonney (Norwich/Norwich, N.Y.) was elected to the Capital One Academic All-District 3 Men’s Basketball First Team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). He’s the fifth Statesman to earn Academic All-District honors this academic year.

To be eligible for Academic All-District consideration, student-athletes must possess at least a 3.3 cumulative grade point average, be a starter or significant reserve, and be at least a sophomore academically. As a first team selection, Bonney will advance to the national Academic All-America ballot.
