NORWICH – NBT Bancorp President and CEO Martin Dietrich announced recently that Harvey-Triumpho Insurance Agency of Fort Plain, has joined NBT’s insurance subsidiary, Mang Insurance Agency, LLC. Going forward, the Harvey-Triumpho Insurance Agency in Fort Plain will do business under the name NBT Insurance Agency.

Both Mang and Harvey-Triumpho have a long history of serving the insurance needs of individuals in upstate New York. Mang traces its roots in New York’s Southern Tier back over 100 years, and Harvey-Triumpho opened for business in 1950. “It is a pleasure to welcome the customers and staff of the Harvey-Triumpho Insurance Agency to the NBT family,” commented Dietrich. Mang President and CEO Rick Mirabito added, “We are pleased to report that members of the Harvey-Triumpho Agency staff will remain actively involved in our organization.”
