Hospital Foundation campaign raises record amount

NORWICH – The Chenango Memorial Hospital Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign raised $120,985 surpassing the previous high of $116,377 set in 1999. “We were concerned that donations might level off this year due to the economy,” remarked Linda Tracey-Palmatier, Chairman of Annual Support. “Results of the community and employee campaigns were extraordinary. I want to thank everyone who supported our efforts”

The hospital’s employee campaign raised $25,200. The employee committee chaired by Cindy Hill-Frink launched a hospital-wide basket raffle that alone raised nearly $2,800. “The employees thoroughly enjoyed making the baskets. It was a great way for everyone to pitch in and support the campaign,” Hill-Frink reported.
