Tavares exhibit opens at Arts Council tonight
NORWICH – Tonight is the opening of Earth: Spin and Fire, a show featuring pottery, prints and photographs by local artist Jennifer Tavares!
Ms. Tavares first became interested in pottery while a student at Norwich High School, and continued her passion for the art form while attending SUNY Potsdam. Her functional stoneware designs are extremely popular with local collectors and gift givers and she enjoys making “made to order” pieces for her clients.
The exhibit opens with a reception in the Mariea Brown Gallery from 5 to 7 tonight and will be on display through May 11. The reception is free and open to the public.
For additional information, visit the CCCA website at chenangoarts.org or call 607.336.ARTS (2787).
