South Plymouth woman charged with falsifying records

NORWICH – A South Plymouth woman has been charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors following an investigation by the New York State Department of Health, assisted by the Norwich City Police Department.

Virginia Marie Prewitt, 47, 242 Montgomery Road, South Plymouth, was charged Monday with 17 counts of first degree falsifying business records, a class E felony; 17 counts of second degree falsifying business records, a class A misdemeanor; 15 counts of endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, a class A misdemeanor; and 15 counts of public health law offense.
