NORWICH – Facing an increase of business with only a limited amount of space to work, Bob Nassar, owner of the Norwich Tire Co., decided his best option was to move the outdoor power equipment division of his business to a new home.

Nearly three years after first opening the doors of his tractor sales showroom, Nassar has split the two entities of his enterprise, moving his tractor equipment sales and services department from its former location next to Norwich Tire on Hale Street to a much larger facility at 5876 East River Rd. (the former Giant’s Warehouse).

The search for a new space began last fall. A few different commercial spaces came to mind when considering relocation, he said, but the vacant warehouse was “the best fit.” He and his staff began preparing for the move earlier this month.

“We were at the point where we couldn’t really grow any more and we didn’t want to stop,” Nassar said. “Our new line of tractors requires more space, and we have plenty to work with here.”
