Golden Artist Colors recognized for supporting the arts

OLUMBUS – Americans for the Arts announced this week that it will include Golden Artist Colors in a list of the “10 Best Companies Supporting the Arts in America.”

Companies are recognized for this honor for “exceptional commitment to the arts through grants, local partnerships, volunteer programs, matching gifts, sponsorships and board membership.”

“The company is not only committed to its customers and local community,” said Press and Media Raltions Manager Catherine Vacovsky, “it is also committed to its employee owners as well.”

According to Victoria Kappel, executive director of the Chenango County Council of the Arts, “The Chenango County Council of the Arts is pleased and proud that Golden Artist Colors calls Chenango County home. Since 1980, the Golden family has demonstrated their commitment to the arts, the environment, their employees and their community while growing their small business into an international company rooted in integrity and professionalism. It is absolutely fitting that they have been recognized as one of the BCA 10.”
