NORWICH – Local attorney Diane DiStefano filed petitions for the Democratic, Working Families, and Independence Party lines Wednesday as part of her campaign for Chenango County Court Judge. She is endorsed by the Democratic Party and Working Families Party of New York.

“I had a wonderful time meeting the people of Chenango County. The response was overwhelmingly positive and I look forward to meeting many more Chenango County residents between now and November. I would also like to thank the many other people that circulated petitions on my behalf,” said DiStefano.

DiStefano far exceeded the number of required signatures which she believes shows that Chenango County voters are ready to move in the right direction. The signature process is a fundamental component of our electoral system.
