OTSENANGO PONY LEAGUE

Unadilla Valley 15, Sherburne 6

SHERBURNE – Unadilla Valley built a 7-2 lead after two innings, and went on to beat Sherburne Thursday in a Otsenango Pony League non-league game.

Nate Shackelton homered and tripled for UV finishing 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI. Shackelton also pitched a complete-game victory striking out nine, while allowing five Sherburne hits.

UV’s Austin Taylor was 3-for-4 with three RBI; Kyle King was also 3-for-4 driving in two and scoring three times. Brendan Brooker added two hits and two RBI.

Ketih Rose had two hits and scored two runs for Sherburne.
