It just seems to me that some people don’t get the fact that drilling for gas is a win, win for everyone in Chenango County. Not only land owners, but everyone who owns acres in the county large or small, owners or renters. The DEC is here to protect everyone’s rights to an existence here that is healthy and profitable for all with lower energy costs.

The Joint Landowner Coalitions; resolution just is a vote of confidence in the ability of the DEC to regulate drilling safely. Just ask any contractor who is working on roads or streams what they have to go through with the DEC.

After the September floods last year the DEC was all over the place making sure that no repairs were done without their approval. I’m confident once permits are issued they will be on top of all the problems, if there are any.
