NORWICH – The Friends of Joe McBride for Chenango County Court Judge announced today that the New York State Police Investigators Association has endorsed their candidate. In making the endorsement, the Association said, “It is with great honor and pride that we overwhelmingly endorse you for the election to the position of Chenango County Court Judge.”

About Chenango County District Attorney McBride, the Association further noted that “[o]n a daily basis you have demonstrated your commitment to the safety of the citizens of Chenango County ...” The Association based its endorsement on McBride’s experience and character. It noted that McBride has prosecuted over “1,500 felonies achieving an approximately 99% felony conviction rate in 2011” and participated “in almost every major criminal trial in Chenango County for the last 20 years.” With respect to McBride’s character, the Association commented that he performed his duties as District Attorney “in the highest standards employing tenacity, fairness, dedication, and professionalism.” The Association concluded its endorsement by thanking McBride for his “continued efforts in protecting the citizens of Chenango County.”
