NORWICH – On Thursday, Sept. 13, there will be a countywide primary election for all enrolled Republican, Conservative and Independence party voters for the office of County Court Judge.

In addition there will be a Republican only primary for the 51st Senate District which entails Columbus, Lincklaen, New Berlin, North Norwich, Otselic, Pharsalia, Pitcher, Plymouth, Sherburne and Smyrna.

The following towns also have primaries for vacant offices:

• City of Norwich Ward 6 - Alderman to fill a 1 year vacancy

• Town of Bainbridge - Council to fill a 3 year vacancy

• Town of Guilford – 2 County Committee positions
