I was asked the other day who I was giving my support to in the upcoming race for County Court Judge. Without hesitation, I told the man asking that my vote was going to Joe McBride.

A County Court Judge presides over County Court, Family Court and Surrogate Court; Mr. McBride has over 20 years of experience in Chenango County participating in all three of these areas of law. He opened a private practice in Norwich in 1990, in which he developed wide-ranging experience in Count, Supreme, Family and Surrogate Courts. In 1999, he began serving as the Chenango County District Attorney. As District Attorney, he has prosecuted over 1,500 felonies at almost a 100% conviction rate for 2011. His experience has continued on until the people spoke, asking Mr. McBride to take on the monumental task of running for County Court Judge.
