I was raised in Norwich and have lived in Norwich most of my 52 years. I support Joe McBride for County Judge because he is most qualified for the job.

I am writing because I believe David Wern’s letter to the editor on September 3rd was misleading and irrelevant. I find it that way for the following reasons:

1). He took a lot of words to say the McBride campaign is using “old school” tactics by receiving endorsements. I am not sure how that’s old school, but trying to find faults in an opponents campaign as opposed to finding the strengths in your candidate is certainly “old school.” I think old school vs. new school is irrelevant and all candidates are using tactics that can fit in each category: a) OLD: lawn signs, letters to the editor, b) NEW: web sites and social media.
