Golf Hall of Fame announces 2012 class
NORWICH – The Greater Norwich Golf Hall of Fame announces its 2012 class of inductees, Richard Curley, William Zahner, Hal Skillin, and Angelo Muserilli
Curley, selected in the players category, is a 40-year-plus member at Way Back of Sundown and Afton, and a multiple club champion at Sundown. He was a “go-to guy” in both league and tournaments at those courses.
Muserilli, a member of Canasawacta Country Club most of his life, was also selected in the players category. Muserilli, a single-digit handicap player through most of his golf career, is a two-time senior club champion at C.C.C. as well as a player in the NYS senior amateur championships. In addition to his fine play on the golf course, Muserilli is also known for his generosity toward kids on the Norwich golf team and his willingness to assist just about anyone who needed help with their game.
