NORWICH – On Oct. 3, Commerce Chenango will host its quarterly “Good Morning Chenango” Chamber Breakfast – featuring keynote speaker Brian Sampson, executive director of Unshackle Upstate. Sampson will discuss important issues that every business owner should know about, the good things that have happened over the past two years that have positively impacted New York State, community and state areas of focus that need immediate attention, what people can do to facilitate change, and top priorities for 2013. The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the American Legion located at 29 Sheldon St., Norwich.

As the executive director of Unshackle Upstate, Sampson is responsible for coordinating the organizations political and policy agendas, advocating for reform in state government, and promoting the overall growth of the coalition and engagement of its partners. Prior to joining Unshackle, he was with Empire State Development (ESD) as Upstate Director for Business Outreach.
