Trio of accidents in Greene area

GREENE – Emergency personnel in Greene were kept busy yesterday, responding to several accidents within their district and a third in the Smithville area.
According to the county’s official 911 log, the first accident took place at approximately 7:45 a.m., when a car reportedly crashed into a house at 1489 State Highway 206. The Coventry Fire Department was requested to the scene and the vehicle’s occupants were treated on the scene and released.
A second accident at 200 Hammerle Road, reported at approximately 12:30 p.m., required assistance from the Smithville Fire Department and Greene EMS. The driver, whose name was not released, was also treated on the scene for minor injuries and released.
Emergency personnel out of Greene were then dispatched to a third accident that took place shortly after 6 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 206 and County Road 2, involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported and those involved were released.
