Suspect in former S-E principal’s murder caught

CLYMER – A Virginia man, the primary suspect in the murder of former Sherburne-Earlville High School Principal Keith Reed Jr., was apprehended over the weekend, and a handgun discovered in his 2003 Buick Century has been sent for ballistic tests to see if it matches Reed’s wounds, according to the Jamestown Post-Journal.

The suspect, Anthony R. Taglianetti II, was taken into custody Friday afternoon near Shenandoah Valley National Park in Virginia. Reed had been serving as the Clymer Central School District superintendent since leaving Chenango County in November of 2011.
