‘Plein Air’ auction at Golden Artist Sunday benefits Colorscape
NEW BERLIN – Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival and Golden Artist Colors present the Plein Air Painters Art Auction and Reception on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Golden Artist Colors at 188 Bell Road, New Berlin.
Plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air,” used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Members of Colorscape Plein Aire Painters of Central New York painted at various locations in the region throughout the summer.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees peruse and bid on artwork in a casual setting. Mastercard, Visa, and Discover cards accepted.
Fifty-percent of all sale proceeds benefit Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival.
Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival is a free festival of art and music in an interactive atmosphere featuring over 90 juried artists and demonstrations, arts activities for all ages, a competitive poetry slam, and creative food vending.
