Sherburne Senior Services nears completion
SHERBURNE – The Crouse Community Center, a nursing facility in Morrisville, will soon unveil a new Sherburne Senior Services adult day care center, adjacent to Westlake Village. Construction on the 38 West State Street site began last May and is nearing completion.
Co-owner of the neighboring Westlake Village, and construction manager of the adult healthcare center, Don Wescott, estimates construction on the facility will be wrapped up in the next few weeks.
Crouse Community Center already has two adult day healthcare centers in Hamilton and Cazenovia which have both seen remarkable success, according to Crouse administrator William L. Conole. Once open, the Sherburne Senior Services facility will function in a similar manner as Crouse’s other two centers. The Sherburne branch will accommodate 15 patients daily and will be able to do everything a nursing home can do, except on an outpatient basis.
