GREENE – The Greene Fire Department and Chenango County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a two-car, head-on accident at approximately 12:45 p.m. yesterday at 910 County Road 32 in the Town of Greene.

According to emergency officials, both cars were still in the roadway when units first arrived on the scene, and Chenango Forks emergency personnel were asked to shut down County Road 32 south of the accident.

The driver of the first vehicle, Martha Reid, 49, of Greene, was transported to the Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, with unknown injuries, not believed to be serious at the time of the accident, while the second driver, Zachary Hennessey, 22, Chenango Forks, was reportedly uninjured.
