Bonney again named Liberty League Performer of the Week

GENEVA For the second time in three weeks, Hobart College junior forward Richie Bonney (Norwich/Norwich, N.Y.) has been named the Liberty League Men’s Basketball Performer of the Week. He averaged 23.0 points, six rebounds, and two steals in a 1-1 weekend for the Statesmen.
Bonney was 7-of-8 from the floor on his way to 18 points during a 65-57 win at St. Lawrence on Friday. The following afternoon, he knocked down 13-of-16 from the field, logging a game-high 28 points and grabbing eight rebounds in a one-point setback at Clarkson. For the week, Bonney shot .833 from the floor and made the lone three-pointer he attempted.
Bonney leads the Liberty League in scoring (21.4 ppg) and field goal percentage (.654), is second in offensive rebounds (3.4/gm) and fifth in rebounding (7.2 rpg).
In 71 career games, Bonney has scored 899 points and grabbed 490 rebounds. His .585 career field goal percentage is the highest in Hobart history.
