GREENE – Greene finished its regular season on the upswing defeat STAC representative Johnson City Wednesday night.

The Trojans (7-4) swept all three relays, and took first through third place in the 100-yard freestyle. “This was an excellent tuneup for the sectional championships next week,” said Greene coach Mike Platta. “It was senior night and we had a lot of emotion. The boys were able to ride that emotion and swim some excellent times.”

Chris Bay had four overall victories for Greene winning the 50 and 100 freestyles in addition to his legs on winning relays. Garrett Hendershott added an individual win for the Trojans in the 100 backstroke.

The Class C swimming sectionals are slated for Feb. 13.
