COPES CORNERS – Edmeston jumped out to an 11-point lead in the first quarter, and extend the lead to 13 points by halftim in a win over the Raiders Monday night.

Savannah Fistrowicz had eight points in the opening quarter for Edmeston, who led 15-4 at one point in the first quarter, and advanced the margin to 25-12 by halftime.

“They came out stormin’ and were pounding it inside to Fistrowicz,” said G-MU coach Jim Johnson. “We came out a little flat, and they took advantage of it. We had a lot of good shots in the second quarter, but we also had too many turnovers.”

Jenn Mason scored 10 for the Raiders (4-11) who host Franklin Wednesday in their season finale.

SOUTH OTSELIC – Cincinnatus won the rubber match of its three-game set with Otselic Valley this season outscoring the Vikes by 13 points in the second half Monday evening.
