Crouse Community Center guests attend informational presentation on breast cancer

SHERBURNE – The Chenango Health Network’s Every Women Counts in Chenango County campaign made a special stop Wednesday at the Sherburne Adult Day Center to spread awareness of breast cancer among the registrants of the Crouse Community Center.

The presentation – offered by Chenango Health Network’s Lori Kemmerer – was meant to inform listeners of the dangers of cancer but also to impress upon them the preventability of those dangers through early detection.

“Our main goal is to make sure every women in Chenango County is getting screening for cancer because early detection does save lives,” said Kemmerer.
