Prior to the Trojans’ uprising, Alex Csigi, pitching in relief, worked out of a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the top of the sixth allowing just a single run. Csigi fanned two and retired the last batter on a pop out.

“They had to be disheartened going into the bottom of the sixth,” said Greene coach Steve Burghardt of Walton. “I was thinking we would be down at least 5-3 and would need to rally. Csigi came in and did a nice job for us. He’s done that three times for us this season.”
Whittaker went 3-for-4 to lead Greene (3-0, 5-1), while Kozisky and Joe Beckwith contributed 2-for-3 days. Greene hosts Harpursville today.
