City officials and members of the Norwich Parks Commission gathered at Kiwanis Park, on the corner of Rexford and River streets, to plant new trees that bring fresh life to the park; and to commemorate the city’s 22 years as a “Tree City, USA,” a distinguished honor bestowed by the Arbor Day Foundation.
