Golden Artist Colors announces acquisition of former Apple Converting space
NORWICH – Golden Artist Colors, Inc. announced Wednesday the acquisition of the former Apple Converting building located at 65 Hale Street in Norwich.
Golden Artist Colors is currently headquartered in Columbus in its 100,000 square foot facility and employs 157 people. The company prides itself in that its Custom Lab is the only facility of its kind and the company is dedicated to designing products to the specifications of individual artists.
The former Apple Converting building on Hale Street is 45,000 square feet and will significantly increase the company’s warehousing and distribution capacity. It will also allocate additional manufacturing floor space within the current facility in Columbus.
Commerce Chenango assisted with the coordination of the acquisition of the Hale Street location. Its efforts helped the company secure financing support from the county and state as well as from NBT Bank.
