Huntley earns all-American honors
FARGO, N.D. – Garyn Huntley, a freshman at Oxford Academy, placed sixth this past weekend at the Cadet Nationals earning all-American honors in the 220-pound division.
Just a second-year wrestler, Huntley wrestled eight matches in the Greco-Roman division against some of the premier wrestlers in the country. He won four of his first five matches to guarantee a top-eight place finish.
Huntley will resume tournament action Thursday when he competes in the freestyle division.
Huntley was a runner-up in the MAC tournament this past year and placed among the top six in the Section IV tourney.
