Heiss, LoPiccolo win gold medals

Barb LoPiccolo (left) and Sue Heiss attended the National Senior Games, held July 23-31 in Cleveland, Ohio. Heiss, competing with teammates from Syracuse, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, earned a gold medal in the 3-on-3 basketball 60-64 age division. LoPiccolo entered the 65-69 hammer throw age division, and won a gold medal. LoPiccolo also played for the Delaware Chicks' softball team in the 65-69 age division helping her team place fourth. in pickleball, LoPiccolo dropped down to the 60-64 age division placing fourth in women's doubles and mixed doubles.
