NORWICH – The 5th Annual Mum Sale to benefit All Animals Matter, Inc., is underway now through the end of September at Maiurano's Greenhouse, Route 12, Norwich.
Mums can be purchased at Maiurano's during its business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. through 4 p.m., and Sundays by chance. Mums are also available at Gallery Three-Two-One, 41 State Street in Oxford during regular business hours.
According to Diane Troxell of All Animals Matter (AAM), there is no price increase this year. Those interested can purchase one for $6, three for $16, and 6 for $30.
All Animals Matter, Inc., is a 501c3 not for profit organization dedicated to helping animals.
“It primarily assists in the cost of spaying and neutering dogs and cats in Chenango County,” said Troxell.
AAM also assists in the medical costs of emergency services.
According to Troxell the feral cat program has helped more than 100 cats in 2013 thus far alone.
“We have also distributed over 1,500 pounds of pet food to needy pets from our Pet Food Bank, and the generosity of businesses like Tractor Supply Company in Norwich, and employees from Frontier Communications in Sherburne,” Troxell added.
