Chenango Arts Council announces opening
The Chenango Arts Council is excited to announce the opening of its 2013-14 Gallery season this Friday, September 13. The first exhibit will showcase some of the Plein Aire painters from Golden Artist Colors – Mary Askerback, George Doerre, Betty Fraley, Edward Hettig, Carl Houghton, Lisa Iannello, Sharon MacArthur and Charlene Walling. With over 30 paintings, this exhibit will have pieces that will make everyone smile. The opening reception, free and open to the public, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Mariea Brown and Raymond Loft Galleries, 27 West Main St., Norwich.
