New Berlin Art Forum presents Flame
NEW BERLIN – The New Berlin Art Forum will present the band Flame on Saturday, November 2 at 7 p.m. at the Unadilla Valley Central School Auditorium in New Berlin. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door or in advance at the New Berlin Library or the New Berlin Service Pharmacy.
Flame, a group of talented musicians from Upstate New York who all happen to have disabilities, is capturing the world’s attention. They average over 70 performances a year both in the U.S. and abroad and have been featured on ABC TV’s “Good Morning America.” Their song list contains over 100 classic hits – rock, country, and blues – from the past five decades and to date Flame has released four CD’s.
They are a phenomenon that connects with people of all ages and backgrounds. Parents of children with special needs are often overcome with emotion watching Flame, because they see that it’s possible to have their own child achieve great things, and even more importantly, have a fun and fulfilling life like those in the band.
