Greene rolls, plays Norwich Sunday
HARPURSVILLE – Greene held Harpursville to single-digit scoring in three of four quarters, and won its third straight game last weekend in Midstate Athletic Conference play.
Senior Zach Wentlent led three Greene players in double figures scoring with 16 points. Justin Ekstrom scored 11, Brandon Davis had 10, and point guard Cameron Race dished out seven assists. Reserve Joe Miranda had his best game of the season scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds.
“I was very happy with our production off of the bench and our defense,” said Greene coach Rick Smith.
Greene meets Norwich in the first round of the Stop-DWI Tournament Sunday at 11:15 a.m. at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
