NORWICH – William H. Danielson, 48, Oxford, was indicted by a Chenango County Grand Jury on Wednesday. Danielson faces felony offenses in relation to the death of Lucinda Knoll in Decemeber.

At a grand jury proceeding, the Chenango County District Attorney presents evidence against those they desire to prosecute and the jury decides – based upon the evidence – if there is enough reasonable cause to charge the individual with a felony offense.

Danielson was indicted on numerous charges, including two counts of murder in the second degree, a class A-1 violent felony; robbery in the first degree, a class B felony; assault in the first degree, a class B felony; and assault in the second degree, a class D felony.

It is alleged, per the indictment, that on Dec. 27, 2013 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Danielson intentionally caused Knoll’s death by striking her in the head numerous times.
