To commemorate Child Abuse Prevention Month, The Chenango County Child Advocacy Center is sponsoring an open house from noon till 4 p.m. on Friday, April 11, at the facility at 8 Silver St., Norwich. Last Friday (April 4), the center sponsored Wear Blue Day, an initiative to educate about, and prevent child abuse. Many staffers from the center, along with workers from the county Department of Social Services attended the event to support the center.
