Seton 5, Norwich 1

BINGHAMTON– In an

evenly matched game at

NYSEG Stadium, with only

one error, two future college

pitchers battled as Seton

overcame Norwich.

Seton pitcher Michael

Korchak threw a complete

game, striking out 13, allowing

only four hits and one

earned run, he is committed

to play at Bucknell next

year.. Norwich ace, Cody

Barnes had nine strikeouts in

five innings and allowed just

three hits, he is committed to

play for Division II

Lemoyne next season.

Defending Class C State

Champions, Seton, scored

five runs on five hit by moving

their baserunners, stealing

four bases on Thursday.

Barnes gave up his hits early

in the game and walked

three batters as Seton scored

on a passed ball and a balk.

“We played solid baseball,

obviously we want to win

but we’re happy with the

way we played. I was happy,

the stuff we did wrong is fixable,”

said Norwich varsity

two RBI. He will be Barnes’

teammate next year at
