Tornado's Trevisani throws seven inning shutout over Seton

Norwich 1, Seton Catholic 0
Norwich’s Chris Trevisani pitched a complete game two hitter in Friday’s win over Seton Catholic.
Trevisani had one strikeout and only one walk, throwing 79 pitches in seven innings for his second win of the season.
‘He let them put it in play,” said Norwich varsity baseball head coach Rich Turnbull.
Shortstop Jake Walsh was involved in seven plays including a sharp line drive double play in the fourth inning.
Norwich got it’s only run after Cody Barnes hit a one out double in the fourth and was scored by a Ricky Runyon sacrifice fly.
“The outfield is playing exceptional at the moment,” Turnbull said.
The outfield accounted for nine put outs, including six straight in he final two innings.
“Every outfielder made a put out in the last inning,” said Turnbull.

Clinton 13, Sherburne-Earlville 4
Clinton scored 11 runs in the second inning to defeat Sherburne-Earlville Friday.
SE pitcher Ben Khoury gave up six hits, hit two batters and walked four.
Brady Elderkin came into the game in relief and allowed only one earned run and four hits in 4 2/3 innings of work.
Khoury moved to second base and turned a double play in the fifth inning.
“The bottom of thier lineup is tough,” said Sherburne_earlville varsity baseball head coach Brian Hicks.
The Marauder’s Kevin Vibbard took a five game hitting streak into the Norwich Tournament.

Oxford 8, Hancock 4
Oxford sophomore Kevin Davis had a strong outing against a quality Hancock team on the way to a four run win.
Davis allowed five hits and walked only three.
“He battled against good, quality team,” said Oxford varsity baseball head coach Chris Palmer.
The game bore witness to three triples, all resulting in runs.
Hancock’s Seth Simmons hot a two run triple.
Oxfords’s Richard Ryan had a hit and run triples in the second inning.
“It was a nice shot into right center,” Palmer said.
The poke drove in Jeff Lawton for the third run of the inning.
Hancock catcher Eli Holton hit a towering fly ball to right field for an easy triple in the fifth and later scored on a sacrifice fly.
Oxford hit well, scoring seven runs on a Ryan Smith, who has 28 career pitching victories and is committed to play at HVCC next year.
